LIVONIA, Mich. (October 21, 2026) – COC Living, a Livonia-based nonprofit that has provided housing and support for people with developmental disabilities for more than 60 years, has named McLean Media as its agency of record. The partnership will guide COC Living's public relations, media relations, and content marketing as the organization works to grow its housing and support services across Wayne County.
"COC Living has spent more than six decades doing work that changes people's lives, giving people with developmental disabilities a place to call home and the support to thrive there," said Don F. McLean, founder and president of McLean Media. "As their agency of record, we want to make sure more people know that story inside and out, and help Michiganders understand what it takes to keep it going."
COC Living owns and manages 15 homes across Plymouth, Livonia, Redford, and Garden City, serving approximately 75 individuals with individualized housing, personal care, and community living support. The organization's approach centers on resident choice, giving individuals a say in where they live, who they live with and how they spend their time. Additionally, they help residents build careers, volunteer, and stay active in their communities.
"Our focus has always been on the people we serve, making sure they have a real say in where they live and how they spend their days," said Holly Heath, executive director of COC Living. "As we look to reach more families across Wayne County and beyond, we needed a partner who could help us tell that story well. McLean Media understood right away what makes our work meaningful, and we're excited to work with them to reach the donors and community partners who can help us keep this mission going."
COC Living relies on the support of volunteers, donors and community partners to continue providing housing and support services to adults with developmental disabilities across Wayne County.
